Atlanta Based Startup Aevolve Expanding into Africa

Atlanta based technology manufacturing startup firm, Aevolve Inc is seeking to expand in Africa. The firm focuses on bringing innovative and affordable computing and entertainment technology to businesses and consumers.

The startup led by Dr. Les Snead, is planning to build a large-scale factory in Benin’s largest city Cotonou. The new plant, which is scheduled for construction in the last quarter of 2017, is expected to be operational by 2018.

Aevolve, Inc. seeks to become a leading manufacturer, distributor, and provider of what will soon be the new wave of entertainment technology in television through the use of ABX3, a Micro PC-Media Gateway PRO. The startup currently sells the ABX3 Media Gateway Pro V.1. The ABX3 Media Gateway connects directly to your TV and your high-speed home network. “We are looking to create jobs, opportunities, and empower people in Benin and be the first U.S. technology company that has a manufacturing facility in the country,” said Dr. Snead. “My roots are from Benin so I’m really excited. It’s always been about economic development and empowerment. Our products are great for education and putting computers in homes.”
