Love Games: Zambia’s Response to HIV/AIDS Issues

Zambia’s popular drama ‘Love Games’ currently in its second season uses television to deliver the message on HIV/AIDS issues in Africa and Zambia specifically. For those looking to explore African television and immerse themselves in another culture, this is a way to learn more about Zambia. The plot focuses on five couples living in the Zambian capital Lusaka, where HIV prevalence is over 20 per cent, compared with the national average of 14.3 per cent.

As season 2 progresses you may want to start at Season 1 to get a clear idea of how the story shapes up. The drama was created through funding from USAID, ZNBC, PEPFAR, and the Safe Love Campaign.
