An upcoming biographical sports-drama film. It is the first feature biopic film about African American athlete Jesse Owens, who won a record-breaking four gold medals at the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games. Directed by Stephen Hopkins and written by Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse, the film stars Stephan James, Jason Sudeikis, Jeremy Irons, William Hurt and Carice van Houten.

CONCUSSION

An American biographical sports medical drama film directed and written by Peter Landesman, based on the 2009 GQ exposé Game Brain by Jeanne Marie Laskas, and starring Will Smith as Dr. Bennet Omalu, a Nigerian forensic pathologist who fought against efforts by National Football League to suppress his research on the brain damage suffered by professional football players. The film also stars Alec Baldwin, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Albert Brooks. Columbia Pictures released the film on December 25, 2015.

FIFTY SHADES OF BLACK

An upcoming American comedy film directed by Michael Tiddes and starring Marlon Wayans, who is also writing and producing the film. The film is a parody of the 2015 erotic romantic drama film Fifty Shades of Grey. Open Road Films will release the film in North American theaters on January 29, 2016.

THE BEST MAN WEDDING

The “Best Man” franchise stars Taye Diggs, Nia Long, Morris Chestnut, Harold Perrineau, Terrence Howard, Sanaa Lathan, Melissa De Sousa, Monica Calhoun and Regina Hall. All are expected to return for the new movie, except for Calhoun, whose character Mia died in the last film. Release date is set for April 2015 in the US.
